Syntax Reference - Parallel Gateway

We express parallelism by using “|” between the parallel tasks.
It is used both to express a parallel split (if the parallel tasks are preceded by an event or a task) and a parallel merge (if the parallel tasks are followed by an event or a task), or both.
Which is why in these examples we use the explicit (start) and (finish) events.
